Kids Let’s Knit
Grades 2-4 | Tuesdays
Knitting is a great hobby for kids. Students learn about kinds of yarns, tools, and decorating their own knitting bags. This class is open to beginners, who will learn the basics and create a simple accessory of their choice, and intermediates, who will take on more challenging projects like dolls, hats, and mittens. Students also enjoy being part of a knitting community as they share ideas and encourage each other as we learn to love knitting!
Beyond Paper Folding
Grades 1-3 | Wednesdays
Children develop important life skills while creating interesting origami models. Each session includes light exercises, posture guidance, and finger warm-ups that help children focus and prepare their bodies for learning. Children practice step-by-step thinking, spatial reasoning, and geometry as they follow folding instructions; developing problem-solving skills without even realizing.
