Croton Academy of Arts performs at Upright Citizen's Brigade 17th annual Del Close Improv Marathon

Croton on Hudson, NY – Croton Academy of Arts We are so pleased and proud to announce that for the second year in a row, our Croton Academy of Arts comedy improv troupe has been chosen to perform in the Upright Citizen’s Brigade (UCB) Del Close Improv Comedy Marathon. Our show, “caca Happens!”, is 12:00 noon, Saturday, June 27 at UCB East Stage, 153 East 3rd St. New York, NY 10009. Check out all of the performances at https://delclosemarathon.com/calendar.
2,100 teams applied to perform in this weekend comedy improv marathon. Our team, “caca Happens!” is one of 600 shows open to the public and will be performed in one of 9 venues throughout New York City. We would love to see some familiar faces in the audience. There is a $35.00 fee to purchase a wristband that allows admission into any of the 600 shows that are being continually performed over the 6/26- 6/28 weekend. This is the 17th annual weekend-long improv marathon and takes place from Friday, June 26th through Sunday, June 28th in Manhattan. UCB co-founders Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh, and Matt Besser will kick off the marathon, with improv teams from all over the world, including, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington DC, Austin, Philadelphia and Iceland, Poland, Australia, England, Canada and Colombia.
Croton Academy of Arts, a non-profit performing arts school located in Croton on Hudson, NY, provides unique programs for children, teens and adults that foster creativity, communication, self-awareness, confidence and social interactions. Catherine Riedel and Myrlin Valerio are Co-Directors of this innovative school.
