"CACA camp is wonderful! My children come home full of excitement and creativity - they can't wait to put on their own "FNL" (Friday Night Live!) - and believe me, it's better than the real thing! The staff is supportive, knowledgeable, welcoming and full of energy. The quality of work that comes out of these kids after just one week is astounding - I am so impressed. My kids can't wait to sign up for fall classes - and to be honest, neither can I! I can't wait to see what amazing and hilarious skits they come up with. It looks like so much fun, I think I'll sign myself up for their adult class."

An introduction to stage and screen combat

A thrilling camp devoted to the introduction of stage combat and fight choreography - a  highly specialized technique in theatre designed to create the illusion of physical combat without causing harm to the performers. Students will practice unarmed techniques, slaps, punches, falls and the physical conditioning of the craft. Safety, focus and collaboration are cultivated during the session.

Students will explore the basics of stage weaponry and swordplay so that they are able to understand the anatomy of a sword and learn assigned choreography. Each week will culminate in a final performance where students will demonstrate techniques they've learned.
